Because square boxes are easier, cheaper and more stackable and the people making the pizza don't have to put them together. Plus, pizzas fit in them.

Because it is easier to pack, stack and carry square objects than round ones.
Also putting one in a box is an excellent idea because have you ever tried to carry five or six pizzas in your hand? ewww gross.

thats a great question,you got me thinken i got one you will probley like why is hamburger called a hamburger when it has no ham its beef,shouldnt it be called a HAND-BURGER or BEEF-BURGER
