NAtional dance.: Tinikling

a complicated dance that involves two bamboo poles that the dancers dance on/with. They skip across the bamboo while dancing all the while avoiding being caught in between the bamboo as they are struck together. Often tells the story of a princess and her suitors. The princes is often carried on top of the bamboo afterwards..

A really nice dance, specially if you watch it performed by professional dancers.

Other traditional dances:

Cariñosa
Bulaklakan - they dance with arches of flowers
Pandango sa Ilaw - they dance while balancing candles on their hands and sometimes head
Maglalatik - for men
and so many more
