Stuff on ebay is much cheaper when it comes from hong kong. I have heard it takes like a month for it to arrive, anyone know how long it would take on average?

The only time I have ever had problems with an e-bay sale, was one which originated in Hong Kong. (an SD memory card).

The seller kept putting me off with (rational sounding) excuses about why the item didnt turn up, and I thought I was being reasonable by giving it 'Just another week' (and then another, and another) By the time my patience run out, I discovered that there is a time limit to make claims against a seller on paypal and ebay.

I eventually had to write off about £10. I hope your experience is better than mine

I have bought lots of items from Hong Kong and they normally take between 1 - 2 weeks to arrive.

Mostly a couple of weeks maybe one if you are lucky, but before you bid look very carefully at the POSTAL costs, as these are very often very high and a lot of the guys put in Post Insurance as well, which ups the price again, So the item looks cheap but it is not, and if if is no good you only get back the buying price NOT all the post etc, EBay is fun but beware.

I've had stuff arrive in just over a week before. It can depend on what the item is as it may get held up at customs. I've never waited a month for anything from there though.

It should give you an indication in the advert. If it doesn't you could always ask before purchasing. However, I think it's usually about ten days but I would check if I were you.
