The best and quickets solution is to split the leaves of an aloe vera plant and smear the inner gel onto your burns. Very cool, gentle and soothing. Lay quietly in bed and try and sleep it off. Make sure are getting plenty of water too. You wouldn't to complicate things by getting dehrydated as well. There will be a marked difference in the morning. You can also buy aloe vera gels from the chemist at varying concentrations if you don't have access to a plant (most people may not). Ask the pharmacist which one has the least chemical ingredients and select that one. Chemicals in an aloe vera gel would be only to preserve it for shelf life.

So sorry you are hurting so much, I know exactly how you feel. If all else fails simply get some of your olive oil out of the kitchen, yep the one you cook with and smear gently over sunburn as you would a moisturiser. Very gentle, cheap, natural and effective. This will reduce the sting quite a bit for you too.

Cheers

Good Luck

Aloe Vera gel is best. Smooth all over, and reactivate with cold water every so often. Re-apply more gel throughout the day.

Buy from a health food shop, or possibly a chemist. Make sure it is pure Aloe Vera, not scented lotion.

aloe is good. also try taking a warm bath with tea bags in it. the tea will help with the burning. it sounds weird but it works. after you get out use lots of aloe. you can also buy a spray at the store called solarcane that works really good too. poping a few tylenol will ease some of the pain. remember sunscreen is your friend!!
