I have developed small dry paches on both my eyes, maybe it's due to old eyeshadows?

What do you suggest i use to get rid of dryness?

I'm using vaselline at the moment and taking a break from the makeup

If they itch, it could be a stress-related excema. I have this and the dr. prescribed a cortisone-type creme, but be careful using it around your eyes. I put just a touch on with a cotton swab. Take a break from eye makeup as this adds to the irritation. Wash your face with a clean cloth and non-soap cleanser for sensitive skin. Use a good moisturizing cream twice a day (mine has aloe vera). That's much better than vaseline, which remains on the surface and seals the skin off from the air, while the moisturizer is absorbed into the skin.
Extreme variations of temperature affect this condition so if the weather gets suddenly cold or hot it can flare up.
I know how uncomfortable and unattractive this can make you feel. (((Hugs for you)))

Try cucumber slices. Leave them on your eyes for about 10 minutes. Also, a good eyewash may help. Look around in the pharmacy section of Wal-Mart or ask the pharmacy for something to use. There are a lot of good products out there you can use.
