Nobody is allowed to use your name, face, history, etc without your consent. You can sue them in a court of law if they use you without consent! Get as much money out of them as earthly possible!!!

Good Luck, hun. Take Care.

a) Call the station and explain your position and tell them you have proof positive that the story they are airing about you is wrong. Try getting something in writing to them as well. Log all your communications with them as well so you have evidence that you tried to set the record straight and they refused.

if they don't listen to you

b) I like the idea posed that you call a rival station and try to get YOUR side of the story told

c) If you get no satisfaction from the original television station, thank them for putting some money in your bank account and call a lawyer.

Unfortunately, no. The current air in the media is for sensationalism rather than accuracy. Obviously, they aren't looking for the "truth" but rather for a good story. Something juicy. Perhaps you can go to one of their rival stations and try to discredit their story. They might be interested in trying to make a rival look bad.

What about calling a rival station and telling them your story....they might invite you to use their airwaves to get the truth out.

OR..

call the station who is going to show the program you mentioned and ask to speak to who is in charge ....they should listen to your side and give you a chance....I think they would be liable, like when newspapers print something that is not true they have to come out and make the error correct by telling the truth....

GOOD LUCK...don't give up!

I think you should appeal to judges or something like that. Good luck!

If it is untrue and you can prove it, sue them.
