Normally in our day to day dealings and business it is good to be blunt, but, in delicate situations, family and friends and romance, it could be a set back.

Bluntness is not a genetic disorder therefor with the will and enough effort you CAN change it. Of course there are situations where being blunt is quite appropriate and, may even be needed but under all other conditions bluntness is merely a poor excuse for being rude. Good manners are like oil that make our society run smoothly and by rejecting their use and adding your sullen attitude to life as well you will find that you have fewer and fewer friends and put any relationship you may be in under intolerable strain. If living as a social outcast is your aim in life carry on as you are but you will find that changing your attitude to other people will bring far more rewards that the effort you will have to make in changing it.

The truth hurts so if you want to keep friends stop before you speak and try and tip toe around words maybe you should talk to a therapist to help with that moodiness I know when I'm in a bad mood I can let my mouth loose. People take things the wrong way and can be very sensativeI think your mood is affecting it

being blunt isn't exactly a bad thing. you just got to know when it's appropriate. there are some cases where you got to be straight to point - clear, concise and simple. such situations are of the objective type.
however, in sensitive cases (especially those involving other people's emotions), you got to learn to "break it to them gently". sometimes, people need consideration for their emotions. a good way to do this is to try to put yourself in that person's place and think how the person would feel if you snapped the "painful" truth right at their faces.
it's good to be honest but you could be honest without being tactless.

well, that's my point, why do you want to hurt others with your harsh point of view. its not wrong to be blunt if its done with some kind of class. although to purposely be harsh and Rudd just because is wrong. no you cannot blame your self worth or self induced moods for the reasons you are blunt, thus are just excuse for being an ***

Ah, Serenity!
Some people will admire you for your bluntness. I do indeed. But I am a pretty self-confident person and not so vulnerable.
You gotta put up a facade sometimes like when you are around toxic or vulnerable people or else avoid them if you can.

Interactions take less time if one doesn't beat around the bush but hurt feelings often ensue if both people aren't on the same wave length.
As far as the comment about "I can't change it" that's bull****. If you really wanted to change you'd make the effort to do so. You don't want to change that's why you don't.

It's your personality. Just learn a little tact and you should be just fine. We sometimes need "straight" talkers to keep the rest of us in line.
