Question for bassists?

I'm planning to buy a Fender bass but can't decide which - Precision or Jazz? I'm a church musician playing mostly gospel of course. I don't use effects. Please don't suggest other bass brands. Thanks!

Either way. Not much of a difference for your type of application. But for your genre, I think Jazz is more "aesthetically" matched.

Go for the Precision type. Its actually quite a personal decision, and I would probably go try both of them out. I prefer Precision type, cos its... well, its.... I like it more =P
