Always...no not always...don't worry...You'll know...when that pain starts low and dull in your back and you feel like you have to go number 2!! Then the real SHOW will begin!! Any leakage or mucus? These are things to watch out for! If you want to start it now...try having sex, taking a hot bath, and going for a long walk!

When the baby drops that means you are close! Those are the signs. Unfortunetly you may even go past your due date with no baby. I went 1 week past. Or you could go tonight. ALl labors are different so no matter what anyone tells you, you will be different from them. Trust your doctore! Start pacing your over hospital bag asap and start getting a diaper bag ready for the baby. Get everything done now while you have the time lol

I didn't have any "show". I just started labour (and you'll know the real thing, trust me) and my water broke after 10 hours. I was in labour a total of 13 hours.

My wife didn't with our second child - she woke me because she had her first contraction so I popped downstairs to call mother-in-law to pick up No.1 son. 5 minutes later when she turned up (I was having a cuppa) she shouted upstairs to see if the wife was OK and she yelled back the head was out .
10 minutes start to finish - and when I think about it we didn't have a show for the first either.
