I believe so - my friend had one Angle Fish and 5 other smaller fishes - he had just got them and they were gone! Eaten! i think generally fish will eat smaller fish as another friend of mine had goldfish who ate her neon fish! so its best to have the same sizes if you can!

Angel fish are much like almost any fish in existence - they'll eat other fish under two conditions-

1) the prey can fit into the predators mouth
2) the prey can be caught

Angels are not giant fish and there are much more species they won't eat then they will. They will eat the little guys, like Neon's (a natural food in their habitat).

If the other fish are smaller than the angel fish, then yes it will eat them. If you have the angel fish please make sure that they have enough space for themselves and always keep them in not less than six in quantity. Also make sure that your tank will not be less than 5 feet long. Remember Angel fish are territorial fish and they come from the Chichlid family and these are the reasons why they need a large tank.

When buying Angel fish please make sure that they don't vary in the size because way back when I started keeping them I had 3 mid size and 3 small and the greater ones ate all the smaller ones and I remained with only 3 (they were bought altogether so the tank was nobody's home but they did ate them)

yes infact they do. theyre name has nothing to do with their temper. i had my biggest one tear up a 2 inch angel before. they will eat any small fish. rosie reds are actually bred for angels to eat. so yes they are an agressive fish unless you get them when theyre small and raise them with other fish.that would be your best bet.

I had two and they tended to fight with each other but leave our smaller fish alone.
