How do you tell him? Try this = Honey? Do you think it's possible for a couple like you and me to have too much in common? He's gonna say "like what?" Then you say "well ,, it's like this, you and me, we both like girls". Is that a problem for you?

Be honest with him. It's almost impossible to not hurt him at least a little by this. You can soften the blow and decrease the resentment by being upfront and honest about it. At the least, break it off short term just to get your thoughts sorted out. Many people go through a phase where they question their sexuality. There's also the fact that you were drunk angle to think about.
So, in a nut shell:
1. Tell him that you need some time apart to figure things out.
2. Figure out if this is just the youthful experimenting phase or if you're lesbian. Or if you're bisexual.
3. Go back to him or break it off honestly.

You are lucky in that you are not married like I was, it is even harder having to tell your husband that you're a lesbian then breaking it off with a boyfriend. No matter how gentle you tell him that you are interested in women, he is going to get hurt and maybe even blame himself. My advise is just to try to do it as slowly and gently as possible. And personally, I wouldn't tell him that you were fooling around; just stick to telling him that you are interested in women.
Best of luck.

I don't think you are gay, just bi-curious. It's not a bad thing. You are interested in exploring women a bit more. If your boyfriend is worth is salt, he'll encourage you to explore your sexuality - and offer to accompany you, for your safety while doing so. Talk to him.

Break up with him for some other reason. He is going to think you changed because of him. Good luck and to thine own self be true.

Most men do not mind their girls having mild lesbian tendencies. Somehow it adds to the girls sex appeal.
