Having just wasted the last 19 years of my life on someone who obviously wasn't happy with their initial choice, all I wanted was just someone to accept me as I was and not try to change me too much and for them to just be themselves. After all, when you meet and fall in love with someone, that's the person that did it for you, not some futuristic dream of what you think they should be!
