Jinn means Genie like that of Aladdin ( if you have watched the movie ). It is like a spirit, different religions define jinns in different manners.

A Djinn is a creature of eastern mythology more powerful than a genie but less powerful than an Afrit. All three are considered genies and the names delineate their rank or power.

Jinn are smart ass alien on earth an already here, live with us for thousand years, but they live in different frequencies than as human, earth just like TV you know, in one tv can have a lot of channels (frequencies).

They have technology that can manipulate something in atom, ion, dna level, and can create many things out in seconds :)

they are not mystical creature, they are in flesh like us, you can punch them when they're in our frequencies, so dont worry about them, but beware of their smart ass gadgets, can turn you to stone or something nasty, yeah :)

It's a demon, basically. It's an evil spirit that was never made human and seeks to harm and mislead followers of God.
