I thought it was written very well. I wished that the father would have realized that his daughter would have been fine.But in those days,most families did send their children away to homes. I am glad that the nurse kept her and made sure she was raised and taken well care of.

Yea i read it. The beginning was beautiful but the rest, in my opinion, sucked. Its like the author got lost while trying to write the book. Read something by Sue Mon Kidd instead or Lovely Bones
