I would hope so, I really thought they had shot themselves in the foot when they brought in Jade & co - so it serves them right if it kills the show.

Sadly however, I think it will still be on the air next year.

I very much doubt it, sadly.

All of this situation is really just a part of the B.B marketing strategy. Controversy... love it! Keeps the show in the public eye! Gives those ad-men and marketeers something to shoot for when looking for a) sponsors for the show b) advertisers to buy into the many many commercial breaks.
The next B.B is already being set up as we type, and you can have no doubt at all that the next 'celebrity' (sic) B.B won't be too far away.

Now, if this was like the Olympics - or the World Cup - and only played once every 4 years or so......

But there is little chance as the show generates loads of cash from sponsors, advertisers and premium rate phone lines.

If only Channel 4 used that to get back to what used to be it's core business... making really interesting programmes that the other channels wouldn't dare. But the rule of 'lowest-common denominator' means that we are probably stuck with the whole circus until everyone in the UK stops patronising the damn thing!

Hopefully. What amazes me is how many people go on sites like this to complain, but don't do anything positive. Why not cancel your 'carphone warehouse' contracts and take your business elsewhere? Why not email the Department of Culture, Media & Sport on enquiries@culture.gov.uk as channel4 gets a large amount of taxpayers money, as a public sector broadcaster? Why not switch off? When did we become a nation of toothless whingers, rather than a country of action?

Yes if no company wants to sponsor them, if they don't get sponsored then that will be the end. What company wants to be associated with this bullying racism thing? At the moment it's the Carphone Warehouse, probably contractually tied for a certain time, they do employ a lot of ethnic staff so have to wait and see.

I sure hope so!I hate that show!
Do not get me wrong, I normally just do not watch the programs I do not like, but BB is just on all the time! It is impossible to ignore it....

Absolutely not... it'll never get taken off air. It makes too much money and too many people love the show.

This one has been filmed extremely well, we are only seeing what Channel 4 allows us to see.

It could because there are issues concerning racism and bullyng. Danielle, Jo and Jade and being nasty to Shilpa Shetty when she hasn't done anything wrong.
