File for divorce first after you do that she has a period of time to respond. Make sure you don't get caught with the other woman because she could claim you had an affair! You seem awfully ready to get married so soon, not a good idea-look how the last one turned out! I have been engaged for 71/2 years and we are still not married, but I don't mind we have everything we need but a piece of paper!

can i just say that the first year of marriage is the hardest? are you sure there is no chance of reconciliation? regardless of the fact you seem to have moved on - rather quickly from where i stand! Make sure you have dumped the baggage before you embark down the marriage road again - yes you do need to get a divorce before remarrying. But why do you want to get remarried? don't you want time to explore your world, get a bit silly and learn to enjoy your own company? if you cant enjoy your own company, how can you enjoy others? just put the brakes on for a while, im sure if you do a little soul searching you may be surprised at what you find..........

I don't know what country you are from but yes you will need to divorce before you remarry or you could go to jail. Think hard you loved the first lady you married enough to make a lifelong commitment to her so you loved her once. Marriage is hard work but if you put the effort it well worth. Try a little harder to contact her I'm sure after a year you could tract her down and talk about it.

Most countries don't recognise any 2nd marriage. U need to divorce her first in order for u to married the current woman. You will receive a divorce decree, that means ur officially divorced. According to laws in most countries, u need to be separated for over a year in order to file for divorce. You can actually get all this done through lawyers and they will send a copy for ur wife to sign and that depends on her. For more info, i advise u to check with a lawyer on divorce proceedings.

marriage is a union involving two people and binding to them, which is why you cannot marry any third person while married to the other, as your wife is not talking of divorce, you also have all the rughts to initiate it and the only thing you will have to prove is the irretrivable break down of the marriage and that you do not see any prospect of getting back together. your property will be administered depending on the nature of the marriage you entered into.

she can contest it (my ex husband did) and it will just take longer. But you can still get the divorce. File the paperwork. The courthouse can usually tell you the steps to take. I had to have my ex served with the papers he wouldn't sign them either. He didn't even show on the date for the final hearing. I was awarded everything since he didn't show. They won't process it without her. Sometimes they have you run an add in the paper if you can't have her served. Good luck.

Being married to two women at the same time is a crime in the US. You must divorce your wife before you can remarry.

Just tell your wife that "let's make it easy on both of us, let's go file for a quickie divorce." If she walked out on you, I'm sure she won't object. If she doesn't want a divorce (which I think I would doubt based on your story), tell her she can have half of the furniture. Hopefully, though, you may not even have to worry.
