Question

For my home work i need to list 5 things (each) i might find in my house that are Transparent, Translucent and Opaque. I have a few but could you help me finish it. Thanks

Depends on the question, but I would always say tell the truth. If it is something they probably just shouldn't know yet (like how someone died) then try to focus on another aspect of the question. Like say they are asking how someone died, and it was a car accident and you don't want them to worry about dying while in the car, just turn around and say something like "Well, atleast ____ is off to a better place. We should remember her as she was." I would usually try and tell the truth. I am an adoptive parent (they are my husbands kids) of 2 little ones. The youngest is 3, so obviously if she were to somehow ask me if I was her mother or not, it'd confuse her too much to try and explain she has 2 moms, but my 6 year old on the other hand would understand. Even though their mother lives in another country and will probubly never see them again, I will tell them as soon as they hit a reasonable age that I am not their real mom. I'd rather them feel like I try my best with telling them the truth than hiding it so they don't get worried or feel weird. You never know, they may be able to handle the information better than you think. OR they might already know, just not sure if it's true. Hope that makes sense, hah. Good luck!

Your mother might actually have some make -up (face powder) that is Translucent

You might have some Opaque windows or the shower door (or shower curtain)might be Opaque? Check and see, hun.
