Because people change the original scripts according to their convenience and manipulate others?

If we take any religious texts (Quran, Bhagavad-Gita As It Is, Bible) there are so many different authors and editions published the same context. Why?

You are totally correct about the written works of man. What happens too often, is that Faith is carried too far. People are so convinced that what they believe is right, and in most ways that matter that means everyone who doesn't agree is wrong.
They say money is the root of all evil, but Faith has a lot to do with the evil acts commit by man.

your question has Two Parts: the first is on "fight over religion" and the second is on "religious texts"

the answer to the first is: the people do not fight over religion. they fight over selfish interests. very few fight over religion. further, in today's sense of religion, except others, Islam is not a religion, not a crowd of rituals. it is a code of life resolving social, economic, political etc. problems of life - basing its teachings upon give-to-others approach.

answer to your second part is: regarding text of the Quran there is no authors. there are interpreters who have construed the Holy Quran one way or the other. their interpretation, may be right or wrong because it is always a human effort.

The other religious books have different "authors" differing in text as well as interpretation, in the strict meaning of the term. the answer to your why is again: their self interest. pure pedagogical and selfless approach has become a story of the past. And the present day approach of the so-called Muslims is the worst example.

To the casual observer, it may appear that they are the same, but when you closely examine the religions basic ideas, they differ on just who God is. It is a spiritual battle which has been going on for ages.

I choose Jesus because He has more credentials for being the ONE than do any of the others. For instance, He was predicted in over three hundred ancient Hebrew prophecies to show that He was the ONE.

And when He was here on earth, He did things no other man ever did; He healed the sick, gave back the blind their sight, the deaf their hearing, walked on water, and even raised the dead back to life.

He was and still is UNIQUE! There is no greater than Jesus. All others are just mere men; Jesus was truly the Son of God.

All the disciples were familiar with the prophecies pointing to Him, and the New Testament is filled with their citing them. No other religious leader has such proof, only words.

I see religion as a mirror. People in search of God because they want to see themselves more clearly. When they found the mirror, they see what they want to see, that's why so many version out there. The good thing is, most of the people see the same thing out from so many other things from their own mirror, the same thing that we all see is the true essence of humanity. That is what the religion actual is, the thing that we all see even we are in different believes. I see peace and harmony. Don't you?
