Death is inevitable for everything that is born.... that is how existence and time are defined. That is the rule of God.

However, occurrence and prevention of untimely death are certainly in our control to quite an extent.

That is like asking can God create a mountain so big that He cannot move it. By definition God is all powerful and can create anything, or else He is not God. But then if He cannot move the mountain, the moutain is more powerful than Him so He cannot be God. It is a contradiction that cannot be met on the square of opposition.
In order to be God He has to be in control of life and death. However God has chosen to give man free will. Therefore man can do certain things that could alter where , when, or how a person may die. But death is inevitable. And eventhough nothing is predestined God being all knowing can see the future and knows how each person will use his free will. Still He allows Mankind to go through the motions anyway .

Got any easy questions?

It's a difficult one to answer. I do not blame God for everything, though the Lord gives, and He can take. But He lets us die, as it is part of life, and the plans. We should not blame Him.

A few occasions, man is able to stave off his death for a brief period of time. Take a few of the Founding fathers. They wanted to see the anniversary of our country's independence so much that they did. And they died on the same day. It is also known that some people have managed to live just long enough to see something they really cared for completed.

One may question just how powerful the mind and will may be over the body.

Never. You can never beat the death. That is end of your disteny on earth, and that is what God decides onece for every one. Before you come on earth, your life, death and your marriage couple is decided for you. You can never ever control it on no cercumastances. Those who survive from any shocking incedent or any severe illness, that bcoz they still have time on earth. Their fate is not yet over! You cant count that as beating the death. None can control life and death, except for Him (God Almighty).

If you are a religious person, then you may believe that it may be possible to come back from the dead. You may be sent back to earth to complete some unfinished business, or strike a deal with God or, worse, the devil. Death is the end of our physical lives, but we still have other-worldly connections.

death is primarily under will of God but as man got smarter after eating the fruit of knowledge we started learning how to get out of it. if only for a while. or to cause it for that matter.

Death is the end to all living things on earth. It is the cycle of life.

The question is do you believe in Creation or Evolution.

I believe in life. I intend to come sliding in sideways, wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, yelling, "woo hoo, what a ride."

Excellent question. Of course any yes to this question would lead to another question, "can you in fact beat God's will?" and "is it moral to try?"

I think what is under God's will, is life. It is good to protect life. It is good to prolong it, to enrich it, and to cherish it. I think our goal should be not to go to heaven, but to bring heaven here.

death is gods domain. to us it is the unknown as also god is unknown. by willing death on ourselves we are allowing our own pity to fall on the mercy of god rather than fighting to be willed through him into the endless domain.
