i was thinking of getting my nipples pierced. I'm not afraid of pain, but I'm afraid my body will reject them. Does that happen often? anyone have experience with this?

I've been playing with the idea of a nipple piercing for ages too.
Probably the only downfall to the idea is the chances of mastisis, which can occur if the piercing is improperly placed into the fatty tissue behidn the nipple, instead of at the base of the nipple. As a generalisation, this occurs more on those who's nipple dissapears into the contours of the breast when not stimulated or erect. Many of my friends have that problem too.
Mastisis isn't something ANy female would want, especially one who wishes to be a parent one day.

I suggest you visit your professional piercer and let him or her examine the area before you go ahead with the procedure. Also, make sure he or she IS a professional piercer- any place who offers piercing with a piercing gun, or offers piercing as a secondary service (i.e. a beauty salon ro a piercing parlor) is NOT a professional piercer, and i strongly advise you steer clear of them.

if you ahve any questions, you can email me.
Hope this helps
Cheers

Have you ever had a surface piercing before? Each body is different and some reject faster than others. I've had numerous surface piercings and none have rejected, but I've had friends who have had theirs pushed completely out in six months.

I think your best bet is to watch them closely and if they start to reject, take them out. If you're really worried about it, make sure to talk with your piercer about piercing as far back as you can (this will depend on how long your nipples are).

-rolls eyes at earlier responses- you can still breastfeed if you get your nipples pierced.
I do believe that there is the same chance of your nipples rejecting it as your ears.
One thing to think about though is that peircing your nipples can seriously increase or decrease your nipple sensativity.

Good luck!!
