I won't dwell on how many people chastised me on here in the recent past for watching and posting questions about Celebrity Big Brother. Are you one of the million or so people now watching Celebrity Big Brother since this Race Row exploded? Were you watching it before? Do you still decline to watch?

No, don't you see, that's what the producers want.
Big Brother was declining in popularity and they needed something to bring it back to the masses. They could very well edit the programme not to show these incidents but they choose to show them instead.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was the production team who phoned Ofcom in the first place just to get a bit of attention. Bad publicity is still publicity.

Winner of Crufts?

There is no need for racial slurs at all, it is not acceptable.
Especially by people who are meant to be role models for the kids that follow it.

I watch it, because I love Dirk, and we women don't usually have the eye candy factor they provide for the men.
I must confess last night was very uncomfortable viewing, and also seemed a little contrived to me in places. Cleo's little talk with Shilpa and how vehement she was that it was not racist, almost felt to me as though she had been briefed to get the point across.
And the vile Danielle after her little slap on the wrist, all the 'I've been a sheep and I should have been nicer to Shilpa because she's in a different country' somehow I feel as though they've been told to do some damage limitation because those weren't her words.
