You are not alone.

I am a far left liberal whom has despised Bush from day one. BUT, i even ask this on Y! Answers once btw, I began to feel sorry for him after seeing him fumble so bad during a speech in France. He fumbled so badly that Blair, standing beside him, interrupted and answered for him... saving him.

I literally felt sorry for him that day.

Now as far as feeling sorry for him now...NO.

Yes, he is a puppet. Yes, he has been manipulated by Cheney and Rumsfelf. Yes, it was not his intent to destroy America's reputation.

BUT with all that said, at a certain pt, an adult has to wake up from mistakes and stand on his or her own with a sense of responsibility.

He is our president. The meaning of president has been somehow lowered because of him... He now has the power to stop this madness or not yet he ALONE is choosing to continue.

sure I do. Given all the situations (9/11, hurricane Katrina, all the different stuff i visit't save in recommendations) i imagine he did an astounding job. Do you imagine Gore or Kerry might want to've been waiting to do it with that a lot classification? i do not imagine so. i imagine those next 4 years are truthfully going to be distinct, and that i'm no longer so positive it truly is a sturdy type of distinct. yet i wager we will only ought to attend and word.

That may be partially true, be he's the leader of this country, and the boss of those in the Executive Branch. If something goes wrong, no matter who's fault it is, it's the President's responsibility.

Nope, you're not alone.
He's gotten some very bad advice from some very greedy people. Now he's left holding the bag.
It's almost as if they set him up to look foolish. I'm sure he didn't come up with the "Mission Accomplished" photo-op on his own.

He made the decision to hire them. If they are not competent and he has been reluctant to change any of them. That shows an inability by him to recognize good leaders. Also, any decisions that his administration makes has to be approved by him.

I blame those that convinced him that he was presidential caliber. But, pity him, no. Even he should have known better.
