On 20A westbound into Warsaw, NY, you see signs saying "NO TRUCKS OVER 9 TONS". Growing up in the vicinity, I heard this was because a truck missed the curve at the bottom of the hill and caused a disaster. I cannot find any info (newspaper stories, etc.) online about this incident. Does anyone know an online link to this story? Second best would be someone who was there and can relate the story to me.

I don't believe that I have heard of a road closed to trucks due to one accident.
Either there is a bridge that is restricted in the weight it can carry or there is a problem with the road bed and the county doesn't want heavy trucks on the road.

Is there a bridge somewhere between that sign and the next major road? Possible a cement bridge. Or maybe the shoulders of the road are buckeling and breaking?
