No, unless you want to waste money. It's most likely boredom or a passing phase. If you're still addicted in six months time you might want to consider a better or more rewarding past time but who am I to judge?

IF THIS IS TRUE, that all you ever do is think about Yahoo Answers. One you are bored, so you need to get out with people in the physical world and off the internet.
If you are really always thinking about it, you are beginning or are what some therapists would say is Obsessed with Yahoo Answers and that can in time develop into an obsessive/compulsive disorder. It's compulsive if you feel you have to log on an participate in Yahoo Answers. It's obsessive if you are literally thinking about it all the time.
First try limiting your time to only 30 minutes every two to three days. IF YOU CAN'T DO THAT and stick with it, you are developing a disordered behavior and the best thing to stop it is to totally log off Yahoo Answer for good, no kidding. That's exactly what a therapist would say if they diagnosed you OCD.
If you are this way in other areas of your life as well, yes, do see a therapist or you can end with a really messed up life. Make sure though that you see a psychologist that has a lot of experience and training in treating OCD, which means Obsessive/Compulsive Disorder. Stay away from Psychiatrists as sadly TOO MANY, not all tend to just drug people with OCD instead of teaching them the keys to control their behaviors and change for the better.
GOOD LUCK!

Is it taking over your personal/work/school life? Do you lose sleep worrying about if you got that "best answer" or not? If so, it might not be a bad idea. If not, enjoy your stay, pound out a few Q&A and have a good time while you're here! Take care.

What do you need a shrink for? They have a mental health category on Y/A. You can feed your addiction and get help for it all at the same time.
