I've been watching the 100 hours Pelosi promised on CSpan. Everytime they vote, all the Republicans vote against them. The stuff they are doing seems great.

They're desperately trying to keep all that money in their own pockets instead of sharing it with those hideous poor people.

The Political party System is a joke. It's only there to have sides and raise money for President candidate promotion. Everyone thinks that a side watches out for you more. that's BULL

Abraham Lincoln was a Republican and Confederates were Democrats!!!! Hilarious right

It's a joke. I'm Black, My race thinks that Democrats are for them Bull, some candidates, but not the party. I don't like Bush ( he's a Dummy) He has never been an A student, but he got into YALE ( Daddy) got him there.
I still know he really is trying to better America. I don't agree with 40% of what he does, but Another president will come to change that in 4 years SO.
If Kerry campaign was more than "I'm NOT George W. Bush" than i would have voted for him.

Rage against machine said It best. " There's Some Parties Here, but they're all SOLD OUT"

these parties are for the extremely wealthy. Everyday Every year, work, goto to school, better yourself and save money because these parties aren't going to change anything.

As do Democrats to the Republicans...the nature of politics.

You say the stuff they are doing seems great. I am going to assume you mean the Dems since you mention Rep Pelosi.

Other than voting what stuff are they doing? If you mean the things/promises they are voting on...it doesn't mean anything until it is passed in the Senate, reconciled between the House and the Senate and then signed into law...maybe....by the President and then actually implemented. It is not a quick process. Although historically bill has a better chance of clearing the Congress in the 1st 100 days. I used to deal with politics and politicians in DC 20 years ago.

But it is alway interesting to watch law makers actually conducting legislation.

This is a plan that has always been on both sides. Unless a bill is brought to the house that they agree with they will vote against it always. However the plan is to stop any bill to be passed by the Democrats now and forever for fear that the Republicans will lose ground. But see they have already lost and they need to regroup with the Democrats as one and come to a solution to save our country from Debacle and Disaster. Someone has to count to 10 for the Republicans are out!

They don't stand for the same things in most cases.

A Democrat is an advocate, follower, or proponent of democracy. One who advocates or practices social equality is commonly referred to as a democrat. It's hard to get a Democrat to commit to what they stand for.

Republicanism is the ideology of governing a nation as a republic, with an emphasis on liberty and rule by the people. It's a political system that protects liberty.

Nothing gets done. When the Republicans were in they voted against the Democrats.

The problem is the politicians have started making politics their career. I think there should be a limit to terms.

They have never physically did a hard days work. None of them. Maybe, Carter has put in a few days of hard work.

They started it by creating that resolution against Bush's new strategy. I sure haven't heard the Democrats offer an alternative one, so I guess they want Bush to continue his old strategy of 'stay the course.' Strange, but I'm pretty sure that's a reversal of their political stance.

I have absoulutely no respect for people who can unify to criticize but not to offer alternatives.
