Okay, so I Married my daughters father after finding out that we were going to have a baby. My family put on a wonderful wedding for us....but he and I didn't work out (It all came down to the fact that he was cheating on me and he didn't divorce his first wife even before he married me so I left him) Well, I have moved on to a better life and I have a new beau. We are talking about Marriage possible in Ocotober of 2008. I love the wedding gown I picked out when I married previously. It fits wonderfully, I have all the accessories, and I look damn gorgeous in it!!! I was wondering if it would be proper to use it again. I really love the dress I have and I really don't want to buy another one. What is the general opinion on this??

I thought long and hard about this one. I had a dress I never wore (I ended up breaking up with the other guy) and I love this dress. It is the perfect one, the one I always dreamed of. BUT I thought, how would my husband feel if he knew what that dress was originally intended for?? So, I sold it to another friend who is about to get married and got a new much better dress!!!

well if you really like the dress and don't wanna buy a new one then make some changes to the one you have so that it looks nice but its not the same as before. If you cannot do this then in my opinion yes it would be wrong for you to wear it to your next wedding, how do you think your new fiancee would feel knowing your bringing your past marriage into this marriage by wearing your old wedding dress.

To have the meaning of something new, you could buy another. Yet, if you really really love the dress, I wish you wear that. It would save quite a money. However, do talk about this with your fiance. He will appreciate that you asked him. And even if he doesn't, he wouldn't be able to say somthing later about why you wear the same gorgeous dress. Wishing you the best happiness and joy...
