SPREADING TRUTH:
Once again, I'm here to give you the truth rather than sugar-coating everything like most of these women who are just trying to justify their being overweight and sloppy.
At 5'4, 128, you're okay, but you're running the risk of not being one of my top Yahoo Answers' ladies. My benchmark for women is 5'6, 120-125 (let's say 123). For each inch that a woman is taller than 5'6, she can add no more than 5 lbs. For each inch shorter than 5'6, I like to see women subtract 5 lbs. from 120-125. Basically, I'd like to see you around 113 or so. I want to see you in no more than a size 5.

The modeling industry is a joke. A big fat farce! Their idea of beauty does not come anywhere near what true beauty is. True beauty comes from within a woman who is willing to work with what she has no matter how big or small she is. I did a little bit of modeling in high school. I had the right body size and shape but not the height(I'm very petite) Honestly, the standards they set for beauty are ridiculous and quite honestly, many supermodels I've seen are far from what I would call "absolutely gorgeous." Women like Whitney are B-E-A-UTIFUL! Compare her to the other girls on the show and she outshines all of them. Granted all women are beautiful in their own unique way but I think curvy women, especially women like Whitney who go into that cut throat industry and say "hey I'm curvy and I drop dead gorgeous! Whatcha think about that?" those are the women who bring something extra to the table not the emaciated models that are considered ideal today. I'm glad that someone "plus sized, lol please more like normal sized" actually women the stupid contest for once. As women we need to stand up and fight against this ignorance. How many times have you gone into a store and saw something on the mannequin that looked cute but when you tried it on it was too tight, too long, the waist was too low, etc? Who exactly are these clothes being made for? Did you know that models today are about 53% skinnier than models from the 1950's era? 53%! No wonder we have so many disorders that revolve around eating/dieting. Look at the women we are suppose to look up to. edit: To Alan F: Before I got pregnant I was what you would consider skinny. I was about 5'1-5'2 and I weighed anywhere between 99-104 lbs. and even I gave you a thumbs down. You're nothing but an immature high school boy who knows nothing about the world. The woman above is not a "fatty." Her size is actually a very healthy size for her height anything skinnier would be considered too skinny and anything bigger would be considered too big in the normal world. From your response I can tell that you actually haven't done much traveling. In many, many countries all over the world being a curvy woman(like Whitney above) is considered highly attractive and men fight over women like this. Her curvaceousness symbolizes her fertility. For curvy women, carrying a child and the birthing process is almost always easier than if you have a thinner frame. When you're older try going to Italian, Spain, Africa and you will see that the majority of women aren't size 2's they are size 8-10.

Your height would make you a petite. If a normal off the rack 8 fits then I would guess you are not plus sized. How much you weigh doesn't figure into sizes, your measurements do.

Nope.. you are definitely NOT plus sized. You are barley overweight! If you are feeling heavy or that your body is perceived as thick I would just suggest some Pilate's or yoga and just elongate your muscles and you will feel better. I guarantee it!!

No, that's a healthy weight for your size.
An 8 is often considered small, sometimes medium.
