You can always google it or use Wikipedia to find out more about Hydrogen.
But in my view the following are great aspects of hydrgen cars:

1. The fuel for Hydrogen car is simply Hydrogen (H). Its odor less, colorless, light, tasteless, nonmetallic. So it has little harm known to men.
2. Hydrogen burned will result in water or H2O, so the exhaust of your car is water steam... you 'could' drink it!
3. Burning H is more efficient, but I am not sure whether we have the technology yet for most effieciency.
4. While running, the car is fairly silent compared to a gas combustion engine.
5. Did I mention the environment would benefit more from H than gasoline?

But there are some fall backs. Hydrogen is very flamable. Currently it is expensive and difficult to extract. And because its so flamable, the combustion in an H-Car engine is not safe yet.

When hydrogen is burning it uses oxygen from the air.
Two molecules of oxygen is added to one hydrogen and makes a water molecule H2 O. Quite harmless as you understand.
Disadvantage: One has to use a lot of energy to produce the hydrogen.
