The truth for WW2 is that one idealism (fascism) collided with another (Communism) and by the way with some countries with no idealism (France, Britain, USA). If Hitler had not invaded Soviet Union, USA and Britain would made some deal with him. Only because many Soviets died because they believed in better tomorrow, the Allied forces could overcome Hitler.

The Soviet Union DID win the Second World War! As our allies I should say we BOTH won the war. Do some study. Over 5,000,000 Russians died fighting Hitler.

If you were in Russia and you asked that question to a very old rusky then he or she would most likely say that communist russia did win the 2nd world war.
