Absolutely. I can't believe they've taken the thumbs down away from questions! I've just answered a whole heap of crap that really, badly needed the thumbs down. I couldn't do it, only option was the newer dumber star! I am p*ssed off about it!!! There's got to be a way to give a negative rating to stupid questions.

Yes! Some questions really deserve it. It's unfair to be given the option to show appreciation for a question, but not be allowed to show dislike. I mean how can an accurate statistic based on our activity here be formed if we cannot express ourselves freely?
But in a way, I understand the change. I think the thumbs down just created too many arguments and possibly affected the persons with a high social status, like presidents or famous people who ask questions here.

the subject is that there are too many infantile idiots on YA that could thumbs down even valid questions. i've got seen some posts the place somebody for sure is going by way of and purely thumbs down each reaction solid or undesirable (different than theirs). So, it may be abused...very like the "record" function is abused by using people who're purely evil little trolls on YA...the only subject is that those contain some minimum moderation by using Yahoo Moderators...

Yes I agree, there are some questions that need a good thumbs down. Why would they assume that everybody is going to like all questions? It's as if you can't get in trouble for a bad question, just a bad answer. Bring back the thumbs.

We can't thumbs down? Geez why am I working so HARD to get to level two? There's half the fun gone already. By the time I get there I won't be able to thumbs up or even answer questions. :-(
