This country is going down the pan. If the recent fiasco in Big Brother can make it into the Houses of Parliament what hope have we as a nation got? Schools are useless, the NHS is floundering, public transport is non existent and the politicians are worried about BB.

Blair Set To Radically Enhance British Police State
While the non-debate over the next leader continues Blair aims to cement the Big Brother agenda before he leaves. I also see Bush going in this direction also, along with another terror attack within the states or upon or troops at sea.
To see how things play watch 'monopoly men' or 'federal reserve' within goggle this will be your beginning to your awakening. Be open-minded, and ready for depression

Things are getting worse, if you think about it there's these damn terrorists who are trying to blow us up, there all the yobs, or whatever you call them, all these young gangs who are mugging and knifing people. Then there's now this racism thing, there the pedophiles.
I can't actually think of anything that's not going down! I'm starting to hate this place! Well maybe one thing is alright is that it's not so cold anymore, but then again that brings us back to global warming!

Its getting worse. Children running around wild, no respect for their elders, or anyone else for that matter. Thousands of new laws being introduced yearly, increases in taxes via the back door, unscrupulous politicians out for themselves, corruption rife in every quarter of society, big brother is definitely watching over us, just look at the amount of CCTV around us.

you're right but of all the people coming on this site how many will hold their hands up and say we voted them in 3 times. the trouble is people have short memories these days, labour always makes an unholy mess of government and it takes a long time to repair the damage and it is always very painful!

It's the whole world, not just the UK. Ask anyone in any country, most will tell you they feel the same about where they live.

It's probably a little of both, I don't live in the UK--but I feel the same way about where I live too. Time sure does fly by...

Getting worse yes - fault of immigration no way. Just in case people don't read books we are a nation of immigrants.
The problem is with respect and education - too many ignorant people out there who don't respect peoples property or privacy, and a system of government and policing that defends criminals and the rich
