Depends on what you're looking for in a deodorant and how sweatty you are! This does not stop you sweating at all, and to be honest you'll be lucky if it stops the smell either! The only natural deodorant I've discovered that kinda works quite well is one by Green People, but is quite pricey.... Don't worry about your clothes staining from the deodorant they don't stain but if your someone that does sweat regularly as natural deodorants don't stop you perspiring your clothes stain from your sweat anyway!

I have been using Crystal Spring natural deodorant for several years now, and although I was sceptical when it was recommended to me, I thought I would give it a try. It really does work, lasts for ages and it doesn't stain clothes. The first one I tried, I can't remember what it was called, but it was just the stone and it kept slipping out of my hands, falling to the floor and breaking up, but the Crystal Spring comes in a holder. Hope this helps. By the way I mean the crystal itself lasts for ages.

Crsytal deodorants are VERY effective and cheap.
However, you need to know a couple of things. First of all, if you have been using "normal" spray-on deodorants, you will likely notice an increase in sweat production initially (first1-2 weeks). This is because alumimium-based anti-perspirants (and many deodorants) work by blocking the pores where they are sprayed.
Apart from the well-known harmful effects of this, it means that the body, as a reaction tries to unblock the pores by increasing sweat production (totally counteracting the "deodorant" effect, but it makes you buy more!). When you stop using these sprays, therefore, it takes a week or so for sweat production to normalize.
Also, contrary to popular belief, it is not sweat that causes body odour, but the bacteria that grow in the warm, moist environment of sweaty pits etc. These crystals work by allowing the sweat, but preventing bacterial growth and are 100% natural.
Personally, I have been using them for years. Before, I sweated very heavily, now I hardly even notice.

Works very well, I prefer the roll on, easy to use. I like to add scent so I also use a body spray. It will not stop sweating but it does a great job for odor. I am allergic to the aluminum in antiperspirants, I tried everything on the market in the natural section, the crystal works best. No stains, not even marks on a black dress.

Yes, it works good and does not stain. Also you may want to try something cheaper such as baking soda mixed with a little water to make a paste. Thomas of Maine is also a good line of natural products.

Hi lemon juice is really good. Just quarter a lemon and rub in under your arms, let it dry and you're good to go. Nice, natural and cheap!
