When it is ready. Some don't get hair for 6-8 months. Some come out with it.
Just enjoy rubbing that cuties little bear spot for now.

It varies child to child. My son was born with TONS of thick black hair. Then it gradually fell out. By 5 months, he was practically bald. He stayed this way until shortly after he turned one, then within a couple months, he had a full head of hair again (dark blond/light brown this time though). Turns out his father was the exact same way when he was young. Me on the other hand, I was born with very little hair, lost that little bit within a couple weeks, and didn't get more until I was about 9 months old. Comparing your own hair growth and his fathers as infants should give you a rough idea of when he'll get hair.

when you child's genetics say to do so. my child is still waiting for hair. she has some but not enough to do anything with and she's a year old. be happy the longer you wait the longer before you are fighting with them about combing hair.

My baby's hair didn't grow until he hit the 1 year mark. I was told that if you shave it, it will grow faster, but there was barely anything to shave.

if his parents have fair hair or one does, not for awhile, maybe after a year. blondes have less hair strands than us brunettes, and it'll be thicker. ever seen a blonde with lots o hair?? it's usually thin.
