I never have, but next time I head outside of the country I will. Some countries have the most interesting stamps and postmarks. Good idea. Wow, I look like an idiot (after reading what I typed) but oh, well. Still a great idea. Take care!

Yes.... my husband actually does it and addresses it to our animals. I thought it was silly the first time but it's cool to get home and have a postcard with the postmark and everything on it. It also shows the date so 100 years from now your decendants will know when it was sent and from where, to whom and what the place looked like that you visited. I thought we were to only weirdos on the planet. Glad to know you do this too!!

What do you write to yourself?
I have bought postcards as the pictures are often better that those one can take.
Why not just take photos yourself and look at them regularly on your computer?

I collect them but sending them would be cool like you said & you can fill in all the little details so they wont be forgotten

Its sounds like a wonderful idea, I never thought of it however, I send lots of cards to others just to let them know that I am thinking of them.
