Indian cricket team?. Lack of perserverence and determination. For ex., they won the first test match against SF and they thought their job was over. They didn't go with determination again. And you have people like Sehwag that always think that they can get away with their 'style of batting'.

The only weak point is that they have not been able to perform as a team. If the batsmen clicks, bowlers fail and to top it up, sometimes fielders drop very easy chances.
However, the main problem is bowling, only 2 out of 5 bowlers perform in any match, the rest 3 fails. Until and unless this issue is sorted out, India will keep loosing, irrespective of batting strength.
Bowling definitely needs to be strengthened. The bowlers choosen for this series are:
Sreesanth
Zaheer Khan
RP Singh
Ajit AGarkar
Harbhajan
Romesh Powar
Joginder Sharma.
Do you think this bowling line can win matches for you. Only two names appear to be good, Sresanth and Zaheer. Of this Sreesanth is wicket taker bowler, but gives too many runs away. Hence you need a bowler at the other end, who if not takes wicket is atleast economical. Of the above, find for yourself, the economy rate of the bowlers. Joginder is unknown package and might pull up something out of his hat.
The Indian bowling line need to be improved, if we have to perform consistently in ODI.

Weakness of Indian cricket team is unorganised way of selection,strategy and game plans.Current system of players selection is unappropriate.Choosing a team just for the heck of a game. Not for winning the game.
Need to dig it from its root and choose only those players who can play better.India has got more than 26 states, every state has got their own team why dont playing matches like PHL.

I think india needs a strong team and good coach.India needs good batsman.Laxman is a great player for india and has a good record especially against australia.He played well against southafrica.But he did not get a chance in one day.India should drop suresh raina.India should take some clasical experienced batsman .India batting r poor.Greg chappel should stop his experiments.India lost the SA test series bcoz of sending sehwag in opening position of third test.

the main weak point is inconsistancy sometimes the batsmen score runs but bowlers dont bowl well and sometimes bowlers bowl well and batsmen fail to score the boys should play as a team to win big matches and to have a chance to win the world cup

talent search must go in the anterior regions
make random changes for some tournaments

Lack of team spirit.
There would be no cordination among the players on ground if they are divided in several groups off ground.

The weak point is advertisement. the only solution would be to ban these guys from endorsing products and rather start practising hard....
