how much better off would i be as opposed to having only a bachlor's...in terms of the work force

It depends on the field, really. The best thing to do is start doing some research. What kind of job can you get with the bachelor's degree? How easy is it to advance in your career without an advanced degree? Most important probably is the question of what you want to do as your career and what kind of education or training is required for that.

it really depends on what your field of study is.... in many cases an advanced degree will benefit you (and I think on average people with advanced degrees make more than those with bachelors). But more importantly it depends on what you think you want to do for a career and what level of education you need to make that happen. YOur college should have a career office which can guide you here. Good luck!
