your life is what you want it to be.

chaos, as the people who've answered it (and i expect you as well), is the populist, mistaken idea that life holds pitfalls which we succumb to occassionally.

this is not the version of chaos that most scientists understand - or, better yet, fail to understand. We think that it may be the driving force behind the whole shebang...in that if a butterfly beats it's wings in africa, it MAY be responsible for a tornado in the US. Check it out - do a websearch - because it's rather fascinating.

another aspect of it is that at a quantum level (smaller than we can currently see so it's all pretty imaginary...we can see the effects so we can guess at the causes...) particles can be in two places at once. I'm not a scientist so I can't explain it better than that....

life is what you want it to be. If you want peace, you can have it. If you want crap you'll get crap too.

check out what the Buddhists say about how we invite stuff....

AAAAAAHHHH!!!!!

Now I'll elaborate:

I am a manager in a callcenter, my goal is making it the best callcenter in the world. No, I'm not saying that because I have to or that I think I should, I really want to achieve this and I think it's possible.

And when I say the best, I mean the best in every aspect. In terms of how many sales we make, the best place to work, highly motivated professional people, excellent administration and back up office, excellent facilities. In short, I want the best of the best.

What I have to deal with now:

-We need to hire as much people as we can, including 16 year olds.
- Instead of me getting into serious coaching and teaching people how to sell, I can take up the role of a nanny.
- Other people are working against me. A women who does the job interviews is feared for not being liked and works against me and the rest of my team.
- There's a good trainer but he's somewhat extreme and edgy. Not every employee can handle that wich results in the occasional fights, arguments or overall unhappy employees.
- It seems like every day we get more people who have problems at home and I'm one of the persons who have to handle them. Cause if they feel unhappy they're worthless in terms of their capacities to sell.
- Last days it seems like we have continuous computer crashes.
- I sometimes must do some administration ditties, wich I still see as valuable time lost on coaching.
- Recently there was a huge impactfull happening in my family wich is emotionally very tiring to me.
- I recently live all alone and I'm a disaster in keeping the house clean.
- I wouldn't say I'm in financial trouble but I have to watch out that I will be.

That about sums it up.

I think I exited chaos last February. I was dealing, on a daily basis, with someone who caused more chaos than a herd of stampeding elephants running through a living room. I am a little shell-shocked and I am learning to appreciate peace. I don't want to go there ever again.

Right here, right now!

I am fostering a 4 year old boy, I have my own business with staff. I lost a major client last year and had to sue a client for bailing on a rather large print bill. It has cost me all my savings to do so. The impact on my confidence has rattled me so that I am still no t on track and now in huge financial poop.

I am more overweight than I was this time last year, and gaining steadily. I am in love with two different men for many completely different reasons. I am alone, frustrated, afraid and a little neurotic too.

So it really is the pits at the moment.

well, the edge of chaos in my life is the apathy, loneliness and a headache when I think about it. But, to be honest with you, I always try to avoid that edge of chaos in my life, fulfilling with my duties and trying to accomplish my inner desires.

Edge of Chaos? What do you mean?

2007-01-25 20:50:46 · answer #8 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

none. i can't allow chaos to take me to the edge. sometimes you just have to make peace in your life by yourself even if people or circumstances won't allow you.
