Is there any type of public transportation between wasilla, big lake and anchorage? or from fairbanks to wasilla, big lake or anchorage?

Anchorage to/from Wasilla and Big Lake, yes: MASCOT, the Mat Su Community Transit shuttle. Their web site is here:

I see them all the time in the Matsu Valley and on the Glenn highway to/from Anchorage.

Re Big Lake however, MASCOT only covers the Big Lake/Houston areas by demand on an as-needed basis.

They don't go to Fairbanks but they can probably set you up with a connection or referral if you ask them.

I just came back from Fairbanks, and I don't remember seeing any city busses, and don't think they have any other type of public trasnportation besides cabs.

I am pretty sure that there is locomotive, or air transport that's available.
