I bullied my cousins alot and regreted it afterwards. I felt like i had to make them fear me for some reason so i would beat them and make them cry after a while i would think about what i had done. I guess i felt bullied by my dad and i took it out on them a little bit.

I used to get beat up and bullied by this girl on my volleyball team. She would get mad that I was better than her and got more playing time so she would pick on me in and out of class. It was horrible! She was over six feet and im 5'7"... it wasn't much of a fight even though I took martial arts. She even started fights in practice and the coach would have to split us up. It really makes a person question what they are doing wrong and why it had to happen to them... I know I sure did!

When I was in first grade, there was a second-grade bully named Dale who would stand at the main doors at recess and taunt the younger kids as we went inside. He would say things like "first grade is baby school, nyah nyah nyah", etc. He took every opportunity to make me feel horrible. He was known to trip people up, slam doors in people's faces, and just generally be a nuisance, though I didn't know that was a word back then. I just felt horrible when I saw him. I got a sinking feeling of doom in the pit of my stomach.

The next year, he was promoted to third grade, and I was the first student at our school to ever skip a grade... so I ended up in third grade... WITH HIM!! I remember walking through the door, and sitting down. He said "HEY, this class isn't for baby school, you're in the wrong room" or something like that. I stated that I was in the right room. I even went and double-checked with the teacher. Much to his (and my) surprise, she seated me near him.

He didn't say many negative things to me after that day. I am not sure why. But I think he bullied people because he felt so insecure. And once he realized I was in his class, he felt that I was not a legitimate target because I was somehow bigger than him... as his peer. Looking back at my own experience, I wonder whether bullies tend to not think they fit in with their peers very well.

Dale was the youngest in his household... he had a very popular older brother who was maybe 8 or 10 years older than him. I have since wondered if having such a popular brother made it difficult for that kid to feel accepted by others his own age. Because kids his own age were idolizing his older brother. Maybe that is why he bullied folks. Who knows.

Thanks for asking this question.

I bullied a girl when I was in middle school because she wore a short skirt while having hairy legs. I bullied her because my other friends were making fun of her as well, and because she was a new student we took advantage of her not having anyone to defend her. I regret it alot, I was so cruel when I was young...
