And also explain why the yahoo staff doesn't catch these pictures BEFORE they get onto the site? Children and teenagers use yahoo answers and this kind of activity is wrong. Perhaps some of you have feasible suggestions as to how to prevent this abuse from contiuing to happen? I know there are some people who will feel inclined to make light of this but it is truly a SERIOUS matter so would you please try and be helpful.

As I stated before this is a serious matter and yet people still are making light of it. Therefore I now know part of the problem is the acceptance of the use of the pictures by some of the answerers. I consider my question resolved. What a sad thing to come to this realization.

They're probably pubescent kids, not adults using the naughty icons. They're just being their normal juvenile selves. Ignore them and they usually go away.

I agree w/u and I understand where u r coming from. I'm also a mother and I have 4 kids. As far as the porn aids, I've never been one to use any porn rather it was video and /or oral sexual aids. Some people use them to spice up a rusty relationships and then u have the people that are tuned on by them . I don't see the point in it sense I'm married. I think it is wrong for people who do use the Internet and popular web site for porn and /or anything sexual and/or porn related. There's a time and place for everything and what a pervert sees as the right time may not be the right time and/or place @ all.If sexual related things and objects are seen on the Internet I think certain times of the night they should only be allowed and that should be @ midnight and @ 6am the person that has it on his web site should have it removed until 12am again.(12-6am.) Parents should have parental controls on their computers and teens under 17 and younger should either have some type of supervision and /or should get some permission from their parents and/or guardian. maybe they should have a yahoo answers for kids and one for adults. and if adults violated the children's answer site the federal govt could be contacted.

Unfortunately, there are some people out there who grew up with a porno mentality and so that is all they know. still others grew up in a repressive environment and they are trying to break free.

some people see the Internet as being an anonymous playground.when in fact there are simple ways to find out the household that is producing offensive material on the web. sometimes it is kids trying to get thrills by "freaking people out".

places like yahoo answers have rules that you are supposed to follow but usually the stiffest penalty they impose is denying access to a certain screen name. this would mean that once a kid(young or old) gets kicked out for obscenity a certain percentage will be prone to recidavision(spelling?)

I am sure that many sites like yahoo are trying to keep their sites as clean as possible, but if you happen to observe an offense the best thing you can do is to report them to the web site and let them handle it as well as they can.

You surly must know that there are some sick puppies out there, I think that are so insecure with their sexuality hat the web is about as close to a person. They look ridicules and i would bet mos pictures of them a phony. If I come across one I will tell Yahoo. Maybe there can be an adults only site to check out the sickies and see if you recognize them, like the sex offenders site.

I believe people do it because they know it will ruffle someone's feathers. They do it to get attention. The only thing I can think of doing is reporting them when you see them for indecency. They usually get rid of the problem really quick. I agree with you tho, its pretty pathetic to see this going on when it has such universal access to all age groups now-a-days.
