here is the story-

i was married and this person was single. he was younger than me. we used to play basically chess together and talk a bit. he became my best friend over a while..say 2 years. one day we just joked a bit and i asked him not to as he was engaged. but that didnt stop him. next day he felt pretty bad. then after marriage he stopped talking to me and we had fight as i called him a player. he came back after one yr and wanted me to forget the bitterness between us. it took a while but we were casual friends again. he told me that "he did not want the relationship between us to go anywhere but it just happeend..and its better we dont talk about it". we talked for 4 months and then one day he said he is busy and i was blocked/deleted. i wonder what happened. what do u think.

i wanted him to be my best friend again and he used to talk to me quite a bit. no relationship or anything though.

thnk you.

I think he was falling in love with you and he doesn't want to do something wrong, so he'd rather stay away until he makes up his mind to do without you.

I think in the begining this guy genuinely wanted to be your friend and then things got out of hand. He felt guilty abt the issue hence the silence. Also may have felt gulty abt deserting you hence coming back. He may now be running away from temptaion. I dont encourage close friendships with people of the opposiite sex who are in relationships with other people. In your moment of weakness when you get tempted you will fall

Did you ever see the movie "When harry met Sally". Yes, i will admit it--men really can't have a women as a friend--and not want to have sex with them. So he most likely blocked you so he doesn't goof up the relationship he is in now.

Okay, if you are both married but not to each other, then it is BEST that this relationship end! I know it is hard to lose a friend, but in this case it is all for the best!

probably a bad idea for you two to be friends.. given your history. obviously, you cant control yourselves because you were married and he was engaged. it's just going to happen again if you hang out - find a new person to talk to .... maybe your husband?

it sounds like he may have had feelings for you, but he feels so guilty and wrong about what happened that he just wants to forget about you and the incident and move on. he doesn't want his relationship to be ruined and he doesn't want to ruin your own relationship with the way that he feels, so he's letting you go.
