I wouldn't say it's racism more ignorance.............Jade Goody's mouth is from the gutter and the other two are just scared of jade and don't want to disagree with her. Danielle is a two faced *****. Jade is a bully and their behaviour is appauling.
I hope Jade Goody never works again after that performance last night.

It does not matter where Shilpa is from, what matters is that she is being picked upon because of matters of jealously, bigotry and hatred. This is NOT acceptable at all! Racism is based on using the ignorance of a different culture as a weapon and is not merely a matter of skin colour. It is possible to be racist towards someone of the same colour as yourself. Remember Rwanda and the problems in Northern Ireland? Both could be described as racism since the problems were fuelled by ignorance and fixed views. I think Jade and her lynching mob would be racist towards a person like Shilpa regardless of her home country.

I think she's not half as annoying as those three.
She doesn't come across as ignorant, coarse and vulgar - the other three do.
She carries herself with grace and dignity, they don't. She can put together an argument without resorting to swearing or personal insults, unlike Jade, who acted like a complete mad thing last night.
If it's NOT because she's from India, why did they say things like 'She should f.uck off home' and 'is that how they eat - with their fingers' and 'that's why they're all thin - they have the s.hits all the time'? Or were they referring to Bollywood actresses in general???
By the way - I'm curious... are you trying to imply that if they're not being racist that their behaviour is ok?

Its not racism at all, its because she's pretty and annoying. If anyone looks at a middle eastern person in this country they're put in jail longer than if they were a drink driver and they critically injured some old lady. I actually engourage joking about other cultures, it shows a good sense of humour and more. I also love the jokes the American's make about us (the English), its so funny to see what they think we're like and its great. She's not being bullied because she's Indian and its crazy. Women always do this in BB, they make groups pretty quickly and stay separate and argue, while the guys tend to sit back and if they don't like someone they just don't talk to that person. Just because who the girls are argueing with is now from another country doesn't make it racism.

i agree i think youve described jade and danielle in your question the non celebs as it were. They are all those things, not shilpa. Even if shilpa did have a slightly big head- which i dont think she does, shed be excused. She is a succesful, beautiful, dignified, respected bollywood actress, whose made over 50 films. She's on BB to represent, not make a comeback like those other losers.

I was kind of on the fence about whether it was racism as well as being obviously bullying. It was that grey area where it's offensive and related to her origins but not blatant. Having watched last nights show, I no longer have doubts. Danielle's 'she should f*** off back home' was the clincher for me: not one I've heard for a few years but clearly alive and well!
The life Shilpa has lived so far is interesting and perhaps enviable- not something to be bullied about or apologise for.

well i didn't think racism untill i watched last nights program! if you've watched it i don know how thats different!
n shilpa did twist her words but tht as far as i'm concerned does not merit jades behaviour! what was really horrible was the fact tht danielle n jo laughing uncontrollably throughout n thtjust seemed to increase jade's interest in da stupid meaning-less argument! it seemed like they were condoning it!
i agree tht da earlier comments, etc weren't fit to be labeled racist but nw i agree tht its turning to be!
what else does terms like- 'the indian'; 'she should just go back to da slum she came 4m' "they all eat with their hands"..... oh n numerous others mean???
surely u can't justify it any other way??? it isn't purely bullying n all bcoz she half-cooked the chicken she was making 4 'everybody'? or bcoz she enquired about oxo cubes (well ok they were selfish weren't they?)? or for flushing the chicken down da spare toilet?

So far I wouldn't call it particularly racist, but what it does highlight is those three ignorant, stupid girls. OK, maybe Jo O'Meara does have talent,(although that in no way excuses her ignorant behaviour) but what have the other two ever done? It makes me so mad that in our society we worship people who are just ignorant thugs. I read somewhere that Danielle has an IQ high enough to get into MENSA! Ha! If that's true, then so has my goldfish!

YES it is bullying, YES they are probably jealous, YES they are racist, even though they may not be consciously aware of it. YES this should be broadcast by channel 4 as the public need to see how narrow minded and stupid these girls are. These girls are simply taking the difference in colour and culture between them and Shilpa and using these as a tool to inflict cruelty and an outlet for their prejudices.

What do they have to do to make people think its racist, put a turban on call her a p*** and punch her in the face whilst singing Hari Krishna? It is racist bullying end of. Go back to your slums, mimicking her accent, calling her the indian, saying that Indian people are slim because of undercooked chicken and they are ill, telling her to go home?? What more do some of you want?
It is disgraceful behavior and people that defend them do so out of their own reasons. It is racist bullying.
