Almost all clear now, except for a small 'pocket' in Batu Pahat area, in South West Johor.
Travel by road is no longer a problem, meaning you can drive comfortably from Singapore right through to Penang in the North. However, journey by train may still be a problem.
Be warned though that the Met Service has issued warnings that Central and East Malaya may face dangers of floods due to very frequent rains which are likely to get worse in the days ahead.

I was reading a SIngapore newspaper the other day and they mentioned something like Mersing (a small town in Johor state) was hit terribly by the flood --> something like 2m.

I called a friend of mine who is staying in Mersing. Guess what my friend says... :Nothing of that sort! I am still bringing my children to TADIKA!!!

Sometimes I really wonder how true the newspapers are...

I can only speak for Johor Bahru. At the moment, it's better and the sun's up..but it was crazy especially last week when it just didn't stop raining! The highways were all jammed up..the usual 30 minute drive took almost 3 hours..but I wasn't affected though..
