I'm pretty picky about what I read, so there are only a few that I can really recommend:

Baseball Prospectus - The writers can be a little pretentious at times, but they know what they're talking about. Obviously very stats-driven, but good analysis of what the numbers mean. You do need to purchase a subscription to read premium content, but it's worth it.

Hardball Times - It's like BP, but with a slightly less stats-focused approach. They've had some good writers come and go, but they still provide high-quality, free access to tons of great information and articles.

ESPN Insider - ESPN has made most of their good writers - especially on baseball - into pay-for-use, but it's again well worth the money. Their best writers on every sport also have blogs that are available with Insider access.

Baseball Reference - Thank God for Sean Forman's efforts in creating that site. They've now added a Play Index for the years 1957-2006 that lets you search game logs and stats for a very low fee. Awesome tool to have as a fan.

I like this site because of the nature of the questions, but I really don't like sports forums in general. Too many people who don't know what they're talking about, and too much crap to dig through in order to find the good stuff.

As for the MLB site, I think it's among the worst on the Web. Obviously filtered in only the best light for the game, and their writers are absolutely horrendous. Truly terrible, and not a site I would ever trust for objective analysis.
