Doesn't it cleanse the body of impurities in the blood?

No, it just makes you anemic and may cause infection. Your liver and kidneys cleanse the body of impurities. It's a pretty good design...let your body work.

There are at least two instances in which bleeding is healthy .One is menstruation in females because it is natural and expected and another is when someone has a condition called hemochromatosis that is excess iron in the blood which causes iron to build up in the liver and skin causing liver disease and a bronze color to the skin one the best treatments is donating blood.

Man, that's archaic. That's about 19th century.
Blood letting was performed by doctors who
believed it was beneficial. They also used leeches
to do the same thing. I think the theory was to rid
the body of diseased blood so that new and purer
blood would be made. there was never any
credibility to this treatment and surely should not
be practiced in this day of enlightenment.

No, it's not healthy.
If you're determined to bleed, why not donate a pint of blood to the blood bank and maybe save a life.

they still do it in india where a leech is used to suck ur eyeballs of blood to revive vision to certain sufferers of double vision etc.
