Public educational facilities such as this are the cornerstone of the institutional racism that continues to oppress all races. Not only will I refuse to succumb this, but I will dedicate myself to the eventual elimination of this abomination to the hih pursiut of learning. But I'm only 12. What's your oppinion?

A noble goal, however I wonder if racism is the greatest problem at your school. If it is then do everything that you can to remove it, but if it is not truly the greatest problem then maybe you should focus on the greatest problem first.

Either way you are too commended for wanting improve the world, it is a rare indication of character, whether you are 12 or 92.
Hope this helps.

Nice to see a 12 year old feel strongly about such an issue... racism is slowly becoming a problem in schools and thats very sad because it means that this problem won't go away for several generations

Is racism BECOMING a problem in schools?

Honey, it has been a problem everywhere since as long as different races of people noticed that other races looked different.

Trust me, as a sophomore, I have been immersed in the public education system the better part of ten years, and racial tension and full fledged racism are all to apparent.

Thank you for refusing to submit to the hatred of racism, the world needs more people like you.

I think you're biting off more than you can chew alone, but I'm with you. However, you're wrong in thinking that it's only in schools, because it's everywhere. It's practically what this country was built on, unfortunately, and we will never move past it until we are able to move to a different basis, such as class like in England

Indeed, racism is becoming a problem in schools. Influenced by the examples set out by the world today, even the youth becomes subjective about races. as racist behavior is being displayed all around the world, in spite of the fact it is WRONG, it gradually becomes a social norm. thus, racist behavior is being picked up by the youth and being applied in their lives - including in schools. so, racism in schools is a product of the continuously spreading epidemic of discrimination in the world.

it's wonderful that you are seeking a way to abolish this crisis even at your age. perhaps, as a lot of people believe, racism is results from misled thoughts. since it is a form of discrimination, one could say it is relative to prejudiced minds. thus, perhaps you could begin taking steps to achieving your goal by opening other people's eyes. Open their eyes to the fact we are all people in spite of varying races. Be a model by respecting other people and their culture. It's a small start but eventually, even that small effort could really help.

im a lot older than 12 and public education has always been racist. racism is deeply embedded in the fabric that makes the united states of america. the united states education system is destroying itself -- you don't have to do anything but sit back and watch. as a wise man once said -- nobody is free until we are all free.

Racism is a bad thing if you mean it. Me and all my friends make fun of each other not caring what race we are. I know like I said racism is a thing but, when I see it I just know in my heart that it's not a good thing. But we can't change of all the minds of those who disagree. Believe in what you want to, IT IS YOUR CHOICE!

You are so wise beyond your years and honey I am afraid that racism will always be around. Unfortunately it passes from generation to generation. Oh ,these people just don't know what it is like not to be racist. We are all in this world for a purpose and you don't think God put us here to hate each other. Maybe some day it will get better. May God always be in your heart and God bless you....
