Well now, that is a good question. Someone may look at me and say I was old.
When I was 17, I thought someone that was 30 was old.
Now I'm 71 and when I'm sitting down I feel like I'm 17. It's when I have to get up to walk that I feel old.
I feel I'm very fortunate for myself but when I see that some of my friends are afraid of the technology of to day. All of them are afraid of the computer.
I couldn't live without my computer. I work with photos, write family history, make slide shows for family and weddings, collect poetry, quotes and have my own blog.
I'm home bound and my loving husband of 49 years is my caregiver. He cooks, cleans (I'm getting even, he is the one that now cleans the toilet), shops, and does the wash while I leisurely work on my computer.
My computer is my connection to the world around me.
I guess when I can no longer work on my hobbies, I will feel old.
I also read about two books a week and watch NBA basketball.
I am young at heart and have so many family and friends that depend on me and they also keep me young. I am the rock that holds us all together so I feel I have an obligation to stay young enough for them to lean on me.
Yes, I do feel like a very mature 17 and I love life!

First when you are called Sir or Miss. Then when you don’t like pop music anymore and you find yourself still listening what you have always listen (when you where young).
Then when you realize that you have to be removing a lot of hair in your face and hear. From places that didn’t grow before.
I guess those are some signals.
Ah and if for your birthday you start receiving card telling that you are not old, its that you are already a fossil.

I'm old now!!! I'm the ripe old age of 20 soon to be 21 and I'm dreading that awful date. I want to 18 again, just turned legal drinking age so it was all new and fun. Now some hundred or so hangovers later it's just not fun anymore.

I'd consider myself old when I think being just like everyone else is the only way to live life.

I felt a certain relief when I turned 40. I don't have to "look" 28 anymore! I feel as young/old as my mood.

I like to refer to this thought in answering this question:
You are considered "OLD" when you have the FULL RESPONSIBILITY for that little newborn life that you are holding in your hands ... you HAVE now the FULL ADULT Responsibilities for the next generation ... and from that point on ... YOUR children WILL see you as "OLD"!

347, I mean, it's not crazy that I can't live to be 5, maybe 75 hundred years old, with all of the new technology, and, and robots

When I feel old, no matter what my real age may be, no matter what troubles I may have physically. It's all a matter of how you see yourself.
