What is the technical difference between these two.
What are there exact functions in the laboratory.

The main difference I believe is temperature control. An incubator is used at temperatures that are best for the developing the desired animal it contains. This requires a more precise control than is found in most ovens. The possible exception being ovens used in Labs.
