Seriously? No best way... I've lived in NY and LA and my experience was you NEVER knew when you may run into a celebrity or someone famous. At a bar, at the park, waiting in line for ice cream.
Like the perfect mate, the harder you look the harder they are to find.
Now if you have some MONEY that's another matter, fund raisers in major metro citys always have a few, but it's gonna cost you : )

I lived in Kali-fornication for about 3 years, in that time I saw Tom Cruise,Kelly McGillis(filming scenes for Top Gun), I saw Ray Bradbury, Charlton Heston, Jim Nabors and the band Journey just waking down Hollywood Boulevard. This was almost 20 years ago, though. Your best bet is to move to Los Angeles and hang around the places where they might be.

They need maids,swimming pool cleaners,cooks,nanies,lawn mower men/women etc. Try applying for these kinds of jobs in the L.A-Beverly Hills area.
