Left for personal reasons, personal conflict, involuntary separation ... if you were fired for missing days due to illness there is always "left due to medical reasons".

Position terminated is honest but it sort of suggests that the position is no longer available. You can explain details in an interview. When that time comes be honest. I've found that honesty works.... employers appreciate it. However, don't sell yourself out. If you, say, cussed someone out, you could say personality conflict. Fluff it up a bit!!

Was it a long term job or just a "job between jobs"? If it was less then 6 months, I probably wouldn't even put it on my resume or application.

Do not lie on your application if you do get hired somewhere and they find out you were fired and did not tell them its fraud on your part. You could put on your application laid off or let go will explain in person or just simply leave it off.

Well, any other words in the English dictionary besides the word "fired". Your choices are vast. Use them wisely. After all, without words you get pooped on by birds. Yes...birds.

it is something you are able to desire to understand. the corporate that fired you are able to't, via regulation, tell yet another company which you have been fired. in the event that they do, you are able to sue them. The HR branch is familiar with this, have faith me. all your former company can point out is what your call became, once you began and left and what your pay point became.

You can always put it was either a seasonal position, temporary, the assignment was finished, or you can be blunt about it and write position was terminated. Good Luck!

If it was not just you use:

Downsized

Riffed - Reduction in Force

or the quaint: the company rightsized it's employee headcount

A more sophisticated term for "fired" is "Terminated for cause"....but I wouldn't put it on my resume if I were you.
